These platforms are formed through the creation or acquisition of operating businesses with entrepreneurial management teams or through joint ventures with established real estate operators and financial investors. The firm utilizes a research-driven process that initially involves top-down, macroeconomic analysis to identify markets in which underlying fundamentals create compelling opportunities. Once they have identified an attractive market, Grove focuses their research in-country to identify attractive sector-specific business opportunities. The firm then partners with outstanding entrepreneurs or leading companies with specific industry expertise to build market-leading investment platforms. Grove invests in a variety of property types including, but not limited to, office, commercial, retail, industrial/warehouse, sale/leaseback, healthcare, resorts/hospitality/leisure, property outsourcing and self-storage. The firm invests throughout the world.
