Kurt Herrenknecht

Dr. Kurt Herrenknecht is a graduate biologist bringing with him more than 15 years of international experience in the pharmaceutical and biology industry to the ZFHN.
Dr. Herrenknecht has been studying at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Würzburg and followed up his studies with a doctorate at the Max-Planck-Institute for Immunobiology in Freiburg.
As a former scholarship-holder of the German National Academic Foundation he is now actively engaged in the German excellence program for the sponsoring of academically outstanding students by acting as a voluntary commissioner in the selection process of new scholars of the German National Academic Foundation.
In his role as Business Development Manager, Dr. Herrenknecht is responsible for the evaluation and assessment of new technologies and companies in the biotechnology and medical technology field and for the strategic management support of the corresponding portfolio-companies of our fund.
