Leslie K. Black

Prior to joining Okabena Advisors, Ms. Black worked for American Express in the institutional investment management business, American Express Asset Management Group and was responsible for managing corporate defined benefit pension, foundation and endowment client relationships.
Before that, she was with First Asset Management and was responsible for new business development and client service for institutional clients.
Ms. Black began her career in New York where she worked for Bear Stearns and Smith Barney in international equity research and sales.
She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont.
She holds a Diploma in International Humanitarian Assistance from the Center of International Health and Cooperation through Fordham University in New York.
Ms. Black is an advisory board member for the Frederick R.
Weisman Art Museum.
