Sykes joined TRX in October 2000 as Senior Vice President, Finance.
Promoted to Executive Vice President in 2002 and to Chief Financial Officer in March 2005, Mr. Sykes has responsibility for accounting, finance, strategic development, and investor relations.
From 1988 until 2000, Mr. Sykes held senior management positions with Arthur Andersen LLP, where he advised on public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and internal controls.
Mr. Sykes earned a BBA degree from the University of Georgia and is a Certified Public Accountant.
