Paul Hickey

Paul Hickey's professional experience in finance runs the spectrum of equities, fixed income, and structured products.
Most recently he served over six years as a research analyst for Birinyi Associates, Inc. During that time he conceived and implemented in-depth and original research projects on domestic and global financial markets for institutional clients.
His reports and findings have been extensively featured in publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Financial Times, Barron's, and USA Today.
Paul frequently appears on CNBC, Bloomberg TV, and Bloomberg Radio.
Prior to Birinyi Associates, Paul was a trader for Salomon Smith Barney from 1997 to 2000, where he helped manage risk exposure and traded local market fixed income structured products for the firm´s Emerging Market Group.
During his tenure at Salomon he also worked on the restructuring of over $250 million in derivative contracts following the 1998 Russian debt default.
Paul graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
