Pierre Darier

Mr. Pierre Darier is Chief Executive Officer at Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie.
After completing his law studies, he started his career as a lawyer and was admitted to the Geneva bar in 1971.
He then made his debut in banking at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. and Morgan Guaranty Trust in New York, before joining Darier & Cie in 1974.
On his appointment as Partner in 1977, he became the fifth generation of his family at the head of the bank.
Having devoted most of his professional career to private wealth management, he is currently a member of the management team of the Private Clients Unit and advises many important clients.
He is also the Managing Partner in charge of supporting the development of the Group's private clientele in Zurich and Asia.
His other responsibilities include the Finance Unit and the Legal, Tax & Compliance Unit.
He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch Private Bank & Trust Ltd, the affiliate bank of the Group in the Bahamas, and of Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch Trust (Bermuda) Ltd, the Group's Trust company.
He was the private bankers' representative on the Legal Committee of the Swiss Bankers Association from 1979 to 1999 and a member of the Board of the Swiss National Bank from 1992 to 2004.
He also chaired the Swiss Private Bankers Association from 2005 to 2008.
