Victoria Sheehan

American Association of State Highway & Trans Officials (AASHTO) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that represents transportation departments in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and internationally. The non-profit company is based in Washington. AASHTO's primary goal is to develop, operate, and maintain an integrated national transportation system that includes air, highways, public transportation, active transportation, rail, and water. The organization works to educate the public and decision-makers about the importance of transportation in securing a good quality of life and sound economy for the nation. AASHTO sets technical standards for all phases of highway system development, including design, construction, materials, and other technical areas.
