Orascom Development Holding AG: Grösste Tochtergesellschaft in Ägypten,
Orascom Development Egypt (ODE), schliesst den Verkauf der Tamweel-Gruppe ab
und erhält CHF 18.5 Millionen in bar.

Altdorf, 17. Juni 2019 - Orascom Development Holding (ODH) gibt bekannt,
dass ihre grösste Tochtergesellschaft in Ägypten, Orascom Development Egypt
(ODE), den Verkauf der 87%igen Beteiligung an Tamweel für eine
Gesamtbewertung von rund CHF 20 Millionen* an Ebtikar (Joint-Venture
zwischen MM Group for Industry und International Trade S.A.E und B
Investments Holding S.A.E), TCV1 und Acquire for Investment S.A.E
abgeschlossen hat.

Die Aktienübertragung wurde nach Einholung aller erforderlichen
Genehmigungen durchgeführt und ODE wird nun der Barerlös in Höhe von CHF
18.5 Millionen* gutgeschrieben.

Wie bereits angekündigt, wird der aus dem Verkauf resultierende
Mittelzufluss verwendet, um den Schuldenstand der ägyptischen
Tochtergesellschaft weiter zu reduzieren und die Bilanz zu stärken.
