Lavery, CFA MBA, is a Portfolio Manager at Yorkville Asset Management, Inc. He brings over 20 years of investment experience.
Prior to joining Yorkville, Mr. Lavery was a Portfolio Manager, North American Equities and Head of Research at a boutique mutual fund company.
He was also a Portfolio Manager at BMO Harris Investment Management, where he launched, managed and conducted equity research for portfolios in support of $11 billion in assets.
He began his investment career as a Research Analyst at a boutique brokerage firm, after working as an engineer in the information technology field.
He obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) professional designations from the CFA Institute and Market Technicians Association.
