Bryan C. Davis

Mr. Bryan C.
Davis, CFA, is a Portfolio Manager at Principal Global Investors LLC.
He is responsible for the agency mortgage backed securities sector performance and analytical framework, including developing and implementing analytical and regression models for the sector.
He joined the firm in 1993 as a Servicing Valuation Director for Principal Residential Mortgage where he developed and tested the company’s proprietary prepayment models and option adjusted spread framework.
He then became the Director of Servicing Hedging in 2002.
In 2004, he became a Portfolio Manager responsible for the government sector of the firm's core plus portfolios.
He was also the Portfolio Manager for the inflation protection portfolios and Head of the derivatives and structured products trading desks before moving into his current position in 2009.
Mr. Davis received a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Iowa.
He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
