Daryl Boudreaux

Dr. Daryl Boudreaux is Chief Scientific Officer Emeritus at Nanoholdings LLC.
His extensive experience in translating technology from Universities, and his background in research physics, Daryl was instrumental in helping build Nanoholdings.
His core role is to determine the soundness of the scientific ideas we are considering.
Prior to joining Nanholdings in 2003, Dr. Daryl Boudreaux founded the technology transfer offices at Rice University, where he helped start 7 nanotechnology companies, and at the Stevens Institute of Technology.
His career also includes 25 years at AlliedSignal, where he was Director of Information Technologies for Corporate RD&E.
While there he built up a diverse yet integrated organisation of engineers and scientists who provided the AlliedSignal reengineering community with a range of cutting-edge technologies and systems.
He also served as Associate Professor of Physics at the Polytechnic University of New York and as Research Associate at the Cavendish Laboratory.
His theoretical research led him to develop the first successful theory of low-energy electron-diffraction, a theory that underpins the field as taught today.
Dr. Boudreaux received his doctorate degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1966.
