Professional highlights include building Backountry.com where he oversaw all aspects of digital marketing including its revenue growth and data-driven customer acquisition strategy.
Backcountry.com revenues grew to more than $500 million and it became one of a very few profitable e-commerce sporting goods retailers.
Thereafter, Dustin joined Vegas.com as its Chief Marketing Officer where he overhauled and re-positioned the business for a successful exit.
His strategy included developing the processes and tools using data to run digital marketing as a cycle of testing, optimization, and refinement—resulting in a 20% increase in year-over-year traffic, the highest growth rate since 2006.
Dustin later joined Drip where he pioneered and developed its SaaS e-commerce CRM (ECRM) software.
Perhaps most rewarding, during the past twenty years, Dustin has served on various boards of e-commerce retailers and software businesses where he’s helped founders to achieve their vision, build better products, and more effectively lead management teams.
Mr. Robertson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Utah.
Dustin is an avid skier and mountain biker.
