Mr. Eddie S.
Tam is a Chief Executive Officer & Chief Investment Officer at Central Asset Investments & Management Holdings (HK) Ltd.
He is on the Board of Directors at CAI Global Fund (Delaware) LP.
Mr. Tam founded CAI in April 2005, and is responsible for the overall management of the portfolio.
He is responsible for asset allocation between strategies and asset classes.
Prior to forming the CAI Group, he was the Chief Portfolio Manager of Fore Opportunity Funds at Fore Research & Management LP since its inception in January 1, 2004.
From 1994 to 2002, he was the Head of Sales & Marketing of Asian Derivatives at Credit Lyonnais where he was credited as a pioneer in Asian equity derivatives.
Before Credit Lyonnais, he worked at Merrill Lynch and had focused on equity derivatives and with Salomon Brothers and AT&T Bell Laboratories where he was involved in program trading, systems development & integration.
Mr. Tam holds an M.Sc.
and B.Sc.
in Electrical Engineering from University of Toronto and had received MPPM title from Yale School of Management in 1993.
He is a Member of the Greater China Advisory Board at Yale School of Management.
In October 2010 and was named one of the 25 Most Influential People in Asian Hedge Fund by Asian Investors.
