Mr. Wilkes joined Gardner Rich in October 2007.
He was transitioned to Institutional Sales & Trading in 2004 when he joined Jackson Securities.
There, he began his career as an associate, during which time he assisted in the growth of both the fixed income and equity trading desks.
He oversaw the conversion of the equity desk from manual to electronic trading and transitioned it from general equity trading to corporate repurchases, where he managed corporate repurchase programs for companies such as Chevron, The Coca Cola Co., and ChoicePoint.
Mr. Wilkes graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA in Finance with specializations in Portfolio Management and Capital Markets from Clark Atlanta University.
He graduated at the top of his MBA class and as a result of his academic performance was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society.
Currently, he is pursuing his CFA designation.
He has his Series 7, 63, 55, and 24.
