Established in 1999, the firm is based in Munich and manages assets, investing in securities, real estate and funds for a range of clients including insurance companies, pension funds and pension schemes, church organizations, foundations, local authorities, industrial companies from outside their company group and private investors.

Union Investment Privatfonds GmbH (Union Investment) is the asset management subsidiary of Union Asset Management Holding AG in Germany. Founded in 1956, the firm was formerly known as Union-Investment-Gesellschaft mbH and changed their name to Union Investment Privatfonds GmbH in 2002.
