In addition to his role with Envest Ventures, Mr. Wagner was first elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 1991.
Currently, he serves on the House Committees on General Laws; Education; Finance; Corporations, Insurance, and Banking; and Militia and Police.
Mr. Wagner is a 1977 graduate of the U.S.
Naval Academy.
He served four years in the U.S.
Navy, then later began a career in the ship repair business.
Today, he is president of Davis Boat Works, a local shipyard that employs nearly 100 people.
In the General Assembly, he is regarded as a leading authority in ship repair, and other maritime issues that greatly impact Virginia's economy.
