Gaia Battista

Gaia de Battista joined Just Climate in 2022 as Director of Partnerships in the Investment Team.
Previously, Gaia was an executive director at Lion’s Head Global Partners, where she led the firm’s sustainable finance advisory business advising clients in emerging and frontier markets on a broad set of transaction types from private debt financing, to green and sustainable bond issuance, and strategic projects across the sustainability spectrum.
Gaia has broad sectoral experience, including renewable energy, water and sanitation, technology, and carbon markets.
Gaia started her career at Goldman Sachs in London as a credit risk analyst.
Gaia received an MSci with First Class Honours in Physics with Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London and has a Graduate Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics.
