Ms. Habibah binti Abd Manaf is the Head, Fund Management and Research.
She joined ASM Investment in March 2004, bringing over about 24 years experience in Malaysian equity market with her.
She started her career as an Assistant Secretary, International Economics with the Malaysian Treasury, Ministry of Finance from 1980 to 1985.
She was assigned among others, to monitor the national accounts and balance payments and helped in the preparation of the Economic Report of the Ministry of Finance.
She then decided to venture into the private sector when she joined Kompleks Kewangan (M) Berhad (Amanah Capital Berhad) as the Chief Economist for the group until 1989.
During the period, she gained wide experience in market and economic research.
In late 1989, she joined BBMB Securities Sdn Bhd as an Assistant Manager, Research before leaving for Charles Bradburne (M) Sdn Bhd in late 1995 to assume the responsibilities as a Research Manager.
During her tenure in both of the stock broking companies, she has not only helped to manage the research department, but also assisted the Dealing Department team in marketing tasks, including TV and radio presentations.
Prior to joining us, she was with KL City Securities Sdn Bhd and KAF-Seagroatt & Campbell as an Institutional Sales Manager in the dealing team.
She is the holder of Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Malaya and CMSRL from SC.
