Imogen Mkhize

Imogen is a chairman of Ata Capital, an executive director of Solegna Group and a non-executive director on the KPMG Policy Board in South Africa.
She chaired the Risk & SHE committee at Sasol Limited and served on the audit and remuneration committees.
She was a member of the Accenture South Africa's Digital Advisory board for five years up to 2018 and is a non-executive director of The Ethics Institute SA Board.
She also chairs the advisory board of the Rhodes Business School and serves on the board of governors of Rhodes University.
She is the former chairman of Richards Bay Coal Terminal and has previously served as a director of the boards of NPC-InterCement, Sasol Limited, Mondi Group, Murray & Roberts, MTN SA, Illovo Sugar, Alan Gray, Datacentrix and the CSIR.
She is an emeritus member of the Harvard Business School Global Alumni Board and a former member of the Financial Markets Advisory Board.
She spent the early years of her career with Anglo American and Infogold as an Information systems Analyst.
Her previous executive positions include Chief Executive Officer of the 18th World Petroleum Congress and managing director of Lucent Technologies South Africa.
She also held senior management positions at Nedcor group and Andersen Consulting (Accenture).
In the non-profit sector, she led the Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants as Executive Director in the early 90s.
Imogen graduated in Information Systems from Rhodes University in 1984, obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1995.
She completed a Diploma in Company Direction with the Institute of Directors/GIMT in 2000.
In January 2015, she completed a Foresight Certificate Program with the College of Technology – University of Houston and also completed the INSEAD program: Strategy in Age of Digital Disruption in April 2018.
Immersed in The Reflective Leader (TRL) program designed for senior alumni at the Harvard Business School in June 2019.
