Jack Narcotta

Mr. Jack Narcotta is a Senior Analyst at Technology Business Research, Inc. He leads TBR’s coverage of established device vendors such as Acer, Apple, Asus, Dell, Alphabet, HP Inc., Lenovo, Microsoft and Samsung as well as emerging vendors in augmented and virtual reality, wearable's, and consumer IoT.
His focus is on recognizing opportunities and understanding business models and competitive landscapes in commercial PC ecosystems and consumer device markets.
He assists in directing the practice’s devices benchmarking activities, authoring TBR’s quarterly Devices and Platforms Benchmark and vendor reports.
Additionally, he is lead analyst for custom research into device customer trends, OEM and partner sales and marketing methodologies, and device profit and resource allocation trends.
Prior to joining TBR, Mr. Narcotta was the proposal manager for the North American division of a global telecommunications equipment manufacturer.
Using his knowledge of comprehensive IT and Ethernet network engineering, Jack was responsible for analyzing and ensuring compliance of long-term, multiphase equipment contracts and supporting account development and business partnership efforts in the U.S.
and Canada.
He received a B.A.
in English/journalism from the University of New Hampshire.
