Jessica Kleiman is an operating advisor at Bessemer and brings over 20 years of experience as a communications and public relations executive.
Jessica loves to craft great stories that can help transform brands through powerful messaging and strategic marketing communications.
She has deep experience across brand positioning, including corporate and internal communications, content development, public relations, and social media, particularly in the media, tech, design, and lifestyle sectors.
She has worked for both early-stage tech startups and large, well-established organizations.
Jessica has led communications for two IPOs and, over the course of her career, has worked with several founders to build their communications function from the ground up.
Most recently, Jessica was the senior vice president of global communications at Peloton, where she oversaw the brand’s public relations, corporate communications, internal communications, and social media initiatives.
Before joining Peloton in 2018, she led consumer communications at Instagram.
Prior to Instagram, Jessica spent 12 years at Hearst Magazines, where she drove PR efforts for 20 U.S.
media brands including Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, HGTV Magazine, and more.
She started her career leading communications for The Knot (now the XO Group), where she spearheaded all marketing communications for the leading online wedding resource.
