Joan Hoey

Ms. Joan Hoey is a Regional Director at Economist Intelligence Unit Ltd. She heads a team of analysts covering Europe, in the Economist Intelligence Unit's Country Analysis division.
She is personally responsible for providing political and economic forecasts for a number of countries in the region, including the UK and Greece.
She has long experience in sharing her country and specialist expertise with clients.
She joined The EIU in 1995 after working as a Freelance Journalist covering the UK, Ireland and Eastern Europe.
Ms. Hoey received her first class Bachelor of Arts in History from Sussex University.
