John Deniz

Mr. John Deniz is a Chief Investment Officer at Paragon IM Pty Ltd. He has over 20 years of experience in financial markets.
Prior to establishing Paragon, he worked at a global resources absolute return fund for 4 years and was solely dedicated to the Australian long/short component of the fund, which generated exceptional returns during his tenure.
Prior to that, he had 4 years on the sell-side, including heading Industrials research.
Before entering the finance industry, he worked as a Senior Engineer within leading global organisations including Jacobs Engineering and AMEC.
Mr. Deniz holds an MBA from Melbourne Business School, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) (Hons) with first-class honours in Applied Mathematics from the University of Melbourne.
