John Perry McDaniel

McDaniel John Perry is currently the Chairman & President at Medstar Health Foundation since 2011.
He is also the Chairman at Hickory Ridge Group since 2008.
Additionally, he serves as a Director at Wittenberg University, Greater Washington Board of Trade, Mary & Daniel Loughran Foundation, Consumer Health Services, Inc., National Association of Corporate Directors (Virginia), The Economic Club of Washington, and National Capitol Area Foundation, Inc. In his former positions, Mr. John Perry served as the Chief Executive Officer at MedStar Health, Inc. from 1982 to 2008.
He was also the Chairman of Hickory Ridge Capital LLC and served as the Chairman of the Maryland Racing Commission.
Furthermore, he held various director positions at Medifast, Inc., First Mariner Bancorp, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Heroes, Inc., Georgetown University, MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, and First Mariner Bank.
He was a Trustee at Elme Communities from 1998 to 2016 and a Member-Executive Committee at The Federal City Council.
Mr. John Perry obtained his graduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1966 and his undergraduate degree from Wittenberg University in 1964.
