Jurgen van Vuuren

Mr. Jurgen van Vuuren is a Senior Director at Nicola Wealth Management Ltd.
He joined the firm in janauary 2020.
Prior to joining the firm he spent six years at a major Canadian chartered bank as a Director in Leveraged Finance where he was primarily responsible for origination, structuring and execution of senior and mezzanine debt financings in support of mid-market leveraged buyouts and other event-based transactions across Western Canada and the United States.
He started his career in financial statement audit at a big four accounting firm working in both Vancouver and the Cayman Islands with a focus on clients in the asset management sector.
He is a graduate of the Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of British Columbia and holds the Chartered Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant designations.
