Kenneth A. Bauer has been a Director of GTC Biotherapeutics, Inc. since December 2004, Director of Thrombosis Clinical Research for the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center since 1997 and Professor of Medicine at the Harvard Medical School since 2004.
Dr. Bauer has been a Faculty Member of the Harvard Medical School since 1982.
He is Chairman of Council for the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis.
He received a BS and an MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his Medical Education from the Stanford University School of Medicine.
He completed subspecialty training in medical oncology and hematology at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.
