(Investment Management) (NAM India-IM) is the asset management division of Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd., which is owned by Nippon Life Insurance Co. in Japan. Formerly known as Reliance Capital Asset Management Ltd. and as Reliance Nippon Life Asset Management Ltd., the firm was founded in 1995 as the investment manager of Nippon India Mutual Fund. Headquartered in Mumbai, NAM India-IM manages mutual funds for private clients as well as pension funds, managed accounts and offshore funds.
