Mirae Asset Global Investments (USA) LLC (Mirae Asset USA) is a SEC-registered investment advisor which was founded in 2008 by Hyeon-Joo Park. Headquartered in New York City, the firm is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mirae Asset Global Investments (USA) Inc., which in turn is a majority-owned subsidiary of Mirae Asset Global Investments Co. Ltd., a Korea-based investment advisor that was established in 1997. Mirae Asset USA provides investment advice to individuals, investment companies, pooled investment vehicles, registered investment advisers, non-US registered funds, pension and profit-sharing plans, trusts, estates, or charitable organizations and other institutional investors.
