Matt J. Thiede

Mr. Matt J.
Thiede is a Research Associate at Amherst H.
Wilder Foundation.
He provides coordination, maintenance, and communications support for Minnesota’s Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) at Wilder Research.
He also works part-time as an advocate for homeless and formerly homeless youth at Youthlink’s transitional housing program in Minneapolis.
Prior to joining Wilder Research, Mr. Thiede worked as a leadership consultant with the Wilder Youth Leadership Initiative in St. Paul and in communications, operations, and special events at the MN Aids Project in Minneapolis.
He has a strong interest in positive youth development, housing, public health, and sustainable community development.
Mr. Thiede holds a BA in Social Justice and Conflict Studies from Hamline University in St. Paul.
