Mr. Matthew T.
Resch, CFA, is a Co-Founder & Managing Director at Ambassador Financial Group, Inc. He oversees the management and strategic direction of the firm.
In addition to his management role, Mr. Resch maintains a select client base for which he provides fixed income and balance sheet strategies, as well as investment banking and investor relations advice.
His clients rely on him for economic forecasts, market insight, financial modeling, and overall strategic advice.
Mr. Resch also plays an integral role in many of the firm’s key client relationships.
He is a regular contributor to Ambassador’s client publication, Ambassador Alert, and provides weekly commentary on the economy.
He also periodically addresses industry trade groups and is a featured speaker at Ambassador’s annual seminar series.
Prior to co-founding Ambassador in 2006, Mr. Resch was Vice President of Investments and Investor Relations for Donegal Group Inc., a publicly traded property and casualty insurance company.
He was responsible for managing Donegal’s equity and fixed income investment portfolios and managed communications with the investment community.
From 1998 to 2004, Mr. Resch served as senior bank analyst for a Lehigh Valley based boutique investment firm focused on consulting and investment services for approximately 25 community banks in five states.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Kutztown University.
He also earned the distinguished Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute and holds Series 7, 63, 24, 27, 79 and 99 designations.
