Minyi Tang

FOCUS: Minyi is focused on communications, including systems, components, semiconductors, software, as well as service providers.
BACKGROUND: Prior to Bay, Minyi was a Senior Analyst at Firsthand Capital Management, where she was responsible for both public and venture investments in communications companies.
Investments that she made included Polaris Networks and Caspian Networks.
Before joining Firsthand, Minyi served in various positions within Nortel Networks.
While at Nortel she contributed to industry standards activities, especially during her capacity as the Technical Editor of the Intelligent Network Forum (INF) IN-CT Interworking Work Group.
Minyi holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) and an MBA degree, both from the University of Ottawa.
Minyi is a recipient of the Governor General of Canada Award.
