Preston B.
Barnett is Vice President and General Tax Counsel for Cox Enterprises, Inc. He is a Member of the Bar Associations of Alabama and Georgia.
He is a Director of the Broadband Tax Institute.
Mr. Barnett is a Member of the Tax Executives Institute.
Prior to joining Cox Enterprises in 1979, he worked at Arthur Andersen & Co. Before Arthur Andersen, he was President of the Birmingham-Southern College from 2000 to 2001.
Previously, he was President of the Broadband Tax Institute from 2002 to 2004.
Mr. Barnett received a Bachelor's degree in History and Business Administration from Birmingham-Southern College and a JD from the University of Alabama.
He is a Certified Public Accountant.
