Robert L. Joss

Robert L.
Joss is currently a Professor-Emeritus at Stanford University since 1999.
He is also a Trustee at the National Center on Education & The Economy.
Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director at Westpac Banking Corp.
from 1993 to 1999.
Prior to that, he held the position of Vice Chairman & Executive Vice President at Wells Fargo Bank NA from 1971 to 1993.
He was also a Director at Wells Fargo & Co. from 1999 to 2009.
Additionally, he has served as a Director for various organizations including BEA Systems, Inc., SLM Corp., Citigroup, Inc., Epiphany, Inc., Agilent Technologies, Inc., Bechtel Group, Inc., SRI International, Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd., EDT Retail Management Ltd., and Social Finance, Inc. He obtained an MBA and a doctorate from Stanford University in 1970.
He also holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Washington.
