Mr. Sébastien Lavoie is a Chief Economist at Laurentian Bank Securities, Inc. He has been working in the Canadian banking sector for over 15 years.
He has been analysing economic and financial trends at Laurentian Bank for more than 10 years, contributing to earn a solid reputation in the market.
He interacts actively with Laurentian Bank's main lines of businesses and its clients, most notably Capital Markets.
previously occupied various positions within the financial sector in Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa.
He notably began his career in 2000 as an economist for the Bank of Canada where he developed an expertise on interest rates and inflation.
He holds a Master's degree in Economics from Université Laval.
