Mr. Shugo Yanagiya is Head of Asset Management & Managing Director at IDERA Capital Management Ltd.
Mr. Yanagiya has over 27 years of real estate asset management related experiences in Japan.
He oversees IDERA’s asset management activities and supervises IDERA’s local area managers.
He joined MK in 2005 and contributed his expertise to develop and strengthen its asset management platform for the clients, both domestic and international.
He had overseen value-added projects which required tenant eviction and negotiation with landowners, and executed property dispositions of JPY 200 billion in total.
Prior to joining MK, Mr. Yanagiya spent 14 years at Recruit Cosmos where he managed 100,000 tsubo (331,000 sqm) of residential with the value of JPY 20 billion and achieved disposition of distressed assets owned by Japanese mega banks which totaled JPY 100 billion.
He also managed 110,000 tsubo (332,750 sqm) of residential and commercial sublease business for assets of JPY250 billion in value.
