They became wholly-owned by Justin Braitling who subsequently renamed the firm. WFM provides investment management services to private pooled investment vehicles that are offered to investors on a private placement basis, Australian investment vehicles, including listed investment companies and separately managed accounts.

The firm was founded in 1994 and is wholly owned by Platinum Asset Pty Ltd., which is a subsidiary of Platinum Asset Management Ltd. (ASX: PTM). Platinum provides investment management services to corporations/business entities, high-net worth individuals, pooled investment vehicles and other investment advisers.
