Prior to joining the Board of Pensions in 2000, Mr. Ticey worked 20 years for The St. Paul Companies, holding various positions in underwriting, marketing, service center operations, corporate consulting and multicultural business.
He earned a bachelor's degree in business and economics from Hendrix College in Conway, Ark., and has taken courses through the American Institute for Property & Casualty Underwriting Inc. and the Carlson School of Management, Minnesota Executive Program, at the University of Minnesota.
Mr. Ticey is also a board member of African American Family Services and Charities Review Council.
He is a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Minneapolis.
