Simon is Chief Medical Officer of BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He was Vice President-Clinical and Quantitative Sciences Administration of Merck & Co. Prior to joining Merck & Co., Dr. Simon held senior clinical positions at William H.
Rorer, Inc. He received a BS and an MS from Stanford University and a MD from the University of California, San Diego.
Dr. Simon completed his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Colorado and received an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
