Mr. May began his investment career at Bacon & Woodrow, which subsequently became part of Hewitt Associates.
At Hewitt, he was an investment consultant, advising clients on all aspects of pension fund investment, including investment strategy, manager selection and alternative investments.
After seven years at Hewitt/Bacon & Woodrow, he joined the multi-manager team at WestLB Mellon Asset Management (“WMAM”) in March 2006.
Mr. May worked on the equity funds, with a particular focus on portfolio monitoring and analytics.
He became a founding member when Goodhart was created through the management buyout of the WMAM multi-manager team in 2009.
He holds a BSc (Honors) in Mathematics and Statistics from Sussex University and was awarded the CFA charter in 2003.
