Ranasinghe is currently the Non-Executive Chairman at Sinhaputhra Finance Plc and the Chairman at Singhe Capital Investment Ltd.
He also holds the position of Non-Independent Non-Executive Director at Lanka Credit & Business Finance Plc.
In addition, he is a Director at Lanka Credit & Business Ltd., L&H Capital Partners Pvt Ltd., and Ukg Enterprises.
Previously, Mr. Ranasinghe served as the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tea Factory Owners Association and as a Director-Promotional Fund at the Sri Lanka Tea Board.
He also held the position of Director at the Tea Research Institute of Sri Lanka and was the Managing Director of Thalgampala Tea Co. Pvt Ltd.
Mr. Ranasinghe completed his undergraduate degree at the National Institute of Business Management.
