AJ Silber

A.J.
Silber is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Private Equity Group.
In this role, he is responsible for various legal, regulatory and corporate governance functions for our business, the Brookfield Business Partners board and many of our portfolio companies.
Mr. Silber joined Brookfield in 2012 and was previously responsible for legal matters relating to Brookfield Asset Management, including corporate finance, securities, corporate actions and governance.
Prior to Brookfield, he worked at the law firms Torys LLP in Toronto and Ropes & Gray LLP in New York.
Mr. Silber holds a joint Juris Doctor/Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University.
Mr. Silber is called to the Bar of Ontario and New York.
