Akriti Negi

Akriti, leads ESG, Impact and Partnerships at Avaana.
She brings 7 years of experience in impact and ESG strategy and management.
Prior to joining Avaana, Akriti worked with Samunnati, an Agri focused value chain player which engages with farmer collectives and agri enterprises, where she was leading ESG & Impact implementation, monitoring and reporting across company’s clientele, lenders and investors including DFIs and IDFIs.
She led setting up of the ESG and ESMS practices at Samunnati and development of its impact measurement and management framework.
She was also involved in raising blended and catalytic funds from the development and impact focused institutions which included large philanthropic organizations focused on development of Agri-tech and Climate-tech in India.
Before Samunnati, Akriti was part of Jana Small Finance Bank zonal business intelligence team, where she was responsible for collection initiatives.
Akriti graduated from National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad, a pioneer institute in Agri Business Management (ABM), affiliated to Ministry of Agriculture, with a PGDM specialized in ABM.
