Alan R. Chao

Mr. Alan Chao is a Portfolio Manager at Canaras Capital Management, LLC.
He joined Canaras Capital Management in 2006 from Citigroup Capital Markets, Inc., where he traded equity derivatives.
Between 2000 and 2004, he was a credit analyst with INVESCO, including helping the firm launch its first European CDO.
He started his career with The Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co. spending 3 years in the project finance and commercial lending groups.
Mr. Chao received a B.S.
in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School and a B.A.S.
in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
He obtained his M.B.A.
from Columbia Business School.
