Mr. Alex Hokanson, CFA, is a Managing Director at Tiedemann Advisors LLC.
He is a Senior Member of the Investment Group, with responsibility for market strategy, manager selection, risk management and asset allocation for both traditional and impact investments.
Mr. Hokanson also works directly with several foundation clients.
He joined Tiedemann when the Firm merged with Threshold Group, where he spent five years focusing on investment manager research, asset allocation and risk management.
Prior to joining Threshold, he spent ten years at SEI Investments in a variety of roles, most recently directing investment research and due diligence with the Alternative Investments team.
At SEI, he helped develop quantitative risk management processes and hedge fund allocation methodologies.
In a previous role, he was a derivatives trader and analyst on SEI’s portfolio implementation team.
Mr. Hokanson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova University and a Master of Science degree in financial engineering from Temple University.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
