The firm was founded in 1988 by Alexandre Saigh, Luiz Otavio Reis de Magalhães and Olímpio Matarazzo Neto and was formerly known as Patrimônio Planejamento Financeiro Ltda. They changed their name to Pátria Investimentos in 2002. Headquartered in Sao Paulo, Pátria Investimentos-IM provides institutional and individual clients with a range of Brazilian alternative investment opportunities and advisory services in mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance. Their partners and employees invest in their funds to align interests with those of their investors.
