Ellsworth founded Green Plains Renewable Energy, Inc. in 2004 and has been Executive Vice President of Compliance and Development and a Director since then.
From June 2004 to February 2007, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Green Plains Renewable Energy and as Chairman.
For more than five years, Mr. Ellsworth served as Managing Director of Red Rock Investment Partners.
He held various finance positions at the firms of Prudential-Bache Securities, Wilson-Davis Securities and Dean Witter Reynolds.
Earlier, he owned the financial firm of Ellsworth and Associates.
Mr. Ellsworth received a BA in Communications from Brigham Young University in 1977.
