Barry Yontef

Mr. Barry Yontef is Partner at Penfund Management Ltd.
He began his career with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (now CIBC World Markets) and became head of the Bank's Project Financing Group.
He later joined Burns Fry Limited (now BMO Nesbitt Burns) and specialized in public market corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring advisory work.
He subsequently went into merchant banking and then joined Private Equity Management Corporation several years prior to its acquisition by Penfund.
Mr. Yontef has a B.Com.
from the University of Toronto and an M.B.A.
from the University of Chicago.
