Ms. Beth L.
Corey is Partner at Foley & Lardner LLP (Venture Capital).
She chairs the national Real Estate Practice Group and specializes in representing U.S.
and international investors in real estate assets, investment funds and gaming for real estate acquisitions, developments, financings, leasing and workouts of distressed real estate.
Her practice includes such diverse assets as retail centers, sports arenas, hospitals, healthcare centers, senior living projects, hotels, casinos and mixed-use developments.
Ms. Corey concentrates her practice representing U.S.
and foreign investors for all aspects of business joint ventures and consortiums for real estate and alternative assets for acquisitions, leasing, funds, financing, general real estate and business law counsel.
She also counsels clients with gaming projects, including lotteries, Virtual Technology Lottery and Internet gaming.
She has been engaged in the counsel of clients in business law since 1982, in Chicago, Illinois.
Ms. Corey received her law degree from New York Law School in 1982 and a B.A.
from Butler University in 1973.
She is a member of the American Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Real Estate Investment and Securities Association, the American Hospitality and Lodging Association and the American Gaming Association.
Ms. Corey serves as a member of the Government Affairs Committee of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce.
