Dr. Brita Bye is a Senior Researcher at Statistics Norway.
She joined Statistics Norway’s Research department in 1987 and has previously headed the former Unit for economic growth and efficiency and the Unit for structural policy, efficiency and welfare.
She has contributed to research and analysis in the fields of economic growth, public finances and energy and environmental economics.
She has been involved in several government committees and is a member of the Ministry of Finance’s advisory committee for models and methods.
Dr. Bye holds a PhD in Socioeconomics from the University of Oslo.
