HighMark Capital Management, Inc. (HighMark) is a SEC-registered investment advisor headquartered in San Francisco, California. The firm was founded in 1919 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MUFG Union Bank NA, ultimately held by Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. (NYSE: MY, TYO: 8306), a Japan-based financial institution. HighMark provides investment advice to pension and profit-sharing plans, pooled investment vehicles, charitable organizations, corporations, state and municipal government entities, corporate employee benefit plans, public agencies, foundations and endowments, Taft-Hartley plans, hospital and religious organizations, and treasury departments.

Peritus Asset Management LLC, formerly Peritus I Asset Management, is a registered investment advisor located in Santa Barbara, California. The firm was originally founded in 1995 by Timothy Gramatovich and Ronald Heller. In April 2002, the firm's assets were acquired and the name was changed to Core Wealth Management LLC. The investment team remained at Core Wealth Management until leaving in May 2004 to form Peritus I Asset Management LLC. Peritus manages traditional separate accounts, pooled assets and structured product portfolios for the institutional and qualified retail markets. They manage a range of Peritus funds.

The firm was founded in 1987 and they are a subsidiary of Nuveen Investments, Inc., which acquired the firm in 2005. Their ultimate parent is TIAA Board of Overseers. SBAM provides investment advisory and sub-advisory services to a wide variety of individual and institutional clients, including, including pension funds, high-net worth individuals, corporations, trusts, not-for-profit organizations, endowments, foundations, religious organizations, managed accounts and investment companies and/or other funds.
